Telling Stories Through Images (4th September 2024)
On 4 September 2024, Reporter’s club of Department of English organized an activity titled “Telling Stories Through Images”. The activity’s objective is to make the students understand the importance of photography and also to guide them in conveying their ideas, views and stories through images. This further will help them to explore their knowledge on being creative with regard to journalism. Through PowerPoint presentation the students were made to know about the Technologies involved in Digital Story Telling and they were taught about the Seven Guiding Principles of Storytelling in Photography. This enlightened the students to aware of the importance of Images/ Photography used in the field of journalism.
