Thrills and Chills: Unraveling the Mystery  (5th July 2024)

On July 5th, 2024, the Readers Club of the Department of English hosted an engaging training session titled "Thrills and Chills: Unraveling the Mystery" in Room No. 60. This event was designed for students from the arts, science, and commerce streams, immersing them in the captivating world of mystery literature. Participants explored a range of mystery genres, from classic whodunits to modern thrillers, delving into the suspenseful plots, complex characters, and clever twists that define the genre. Through lively discussions, book reviews, and interactive sessions, attendees honed their critical thinking skills and shared a passion for storytelling and analytical thinking. 

            The books discussed included:

The event was led by Mrs. B. Dhanalakshmi and Ms. Vaishali K, Assistant Professors of the department, who facilitated an enriching experience that combined the enjoyment of thrilling narratives with deep analytical insights.
