Departmental Activity- Shark Tank Style

📅Date: July 27, 2026

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in association with the Department of B.Com (Accounting & Finance), organized a “Shark Tank Style” Event on 27th July 2026 as part of its academic and co-curricular activities. The event provided students with an opportunity to present innovative business ideas and explain their products or services before a panel of judges, in a manner similar to a real-world investor pitch. Students actively participated in teams and presented their business concepts by highlighting the uniqueness of their ideas, target customers, marketing strategies, financial requirements, pricing, and expected profitability. The activity created an engaging and competitive learning environment and encouraged students to apply their academic knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship in a practical and creative manner. The Shark Tank Style event was organized to provide students with an interactive, innovative, and entrepreneurial learning experience by connecting business, finance, accounting, and entrepreneurial concepts with creative activities. The event aimed to enhance students’ understanding of business ideas, financial planning, investment, marketing, and entrepreneurship through a simulated business-pitching activity inspired by the concept of a Shark Tank. It also helped students develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, leadership, confidence, and decision-making while encouraging active participation and entrepreneurial thinking among students.
