Departmental Activity- Internship Project

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in association with the Department of B.Com (Accounting & Finance), organized an Internship Project Viva Voce on 14 ^th July 2026as part of the department’s academic and experiential learning initiatives. This platform provided students with an opportunity to present the knowledge and skills acquired during their internships, thereby bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial expectations.The initiative aimed to enhance students’ understanding of workplace dynamics, project management, and professional communication. In addition, under the expert guidance of Ms. Sowmiya S, the Internship Advisor, students received continuous support in structuring and preparing their internship reports. Her mentorship played a pivotal role in helping students articulate their learning outcomes clearly and professionally. This activity not only promoted academic excellence but also encouraged self-assessment, career planning, and the development of employability skills among the students.

The Internship Viva Voce and report preparation provided students with valuable professional exposure and enhanced their communication skills. Under the guidance and encouragement of Dr. G. J. Precila, Head, Department of B.Com CS, students were able to effectively apply their academic knowledge to practical projects and receive constructive feedback from mentors. The process improved their report writing skills, encouraged analytical thinking, and strengthened their presentation abilities. Overall, the activity boosted their confidence, enhanced their career readiness, and successfully integrated academic learning with real-world experience.
