Orientation program on the CMA Course

IQAC & Department of B.Com (Accounting & Finance) organized an “Orientation program on the CMA Course “on 22nd July 2026 for B.Com streams. The session was designed specifically for students across various B.Com streams, including B.Com (General), B.Com (Accounting & Finance), B.Com (Information Systems Management), BBA, and B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship).The session aimed to familiarize attendees with the rules and regulations of the Institute, highlighting the scope and benefits of pursuing the CMA, and encourage active parental involvement in monitoring the academic progress and performance of their wards. CMA G.Vignesh, a distinguished Cost Accountant, served as the resource person for the session. He provided an in-depth overview of the CMA course, including its curriculum, examination process, career prospects, and the relevance of the course in today’s competitive job market. His insights offered valuable guidance to the aspiring students and addressed several queries from the audience.

The primary objective of the program was to provide both students and their parents with a comprehensive understanding of the academic structure of the CMA (Cost and Management Accounting) course.
