Women’s Day Walkathon 2K26

On 8th March 2026, the IQAC, NSS Unit, Rangers and Rovers organized a Women’s Day Walkathon 2K26 at Napier Bridge, in joint collaboration with Lions International and Hushpurr, to celebrate International Women’s Day and spread awareness about women’s empowerment.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, volunteers, and members of the public. Nearly 90 students took part in the walkathon, demonstrating great enthusiasm and commitment to the cause. The program began with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of Women’s Day and the importance of supporting gender equality in society.

Participants carried banners and placards displaying inspiring messages related to women’s rights, empowerment, and respect. The walkathon covered a 2-kilometre route, creating awareness among the public and encouraging meaningful community involvement. The event generated tremendous enthusiasm among participants and successfully conveyed a powerful message of empowerment and unity.
