Electoral Awareness Model Booth

On 2nd April 2026, the IQAC and NSS Unit organised an Electoral Awareness Model Booth within the college campus, targeting first-time voters. The booth was designed creatively to simulate a real voting environment and to attract students’ attention.

Informational charts, posters, and pamphlets were displayed, highlighting key aspects such as the importance of voting, steps to register as a voter, required documents, and the voting process. NSS volunteers actively engaged with students by explaining the significance of elections and demonstrating how to use Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) through model representations. Volunteers clarified common doubts regarding voter ID registration and encouraged eligible students to enrol themselves as voters. The booth served as an effective platform to spread awareness in a simple and practical manner.
