Seminar and MOU “Aesthetic Enhancing of Articles by Plating Technology”

On 23rd February 2026, the Department of Chemistry organized a Seminar and MoU Signing Ceremony, in which 70 students participated, contributing to the success of the program. Mr. S. Deepak Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Annai Violet Arts & Science College, delivered the welcome address.

Mr. G. Delhi Babu, Resource Person from Sri Vari Educational and Charitable Trust, signed a MoU to provide training, placement opportunities, and scholarships for the students.

The seminar provided valuable insights into plating technology, explaining how articles can be aesthetically enhanced through various metal coating techniques. The resource person elaborated on the setup of plating instrumentation and the electrolysis process involved in coating methodologies. The session also highlighted the relevance of this innovative technique in modern industrial applications.

The program was successfully concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Evanjalin Asha B., III B.Sc. Chemistry, Annai Violet Arts & Science College.
