Orientation Program Regarding AI & Soft Skills

The IQAC and Placement Cell of Annai Violet Arts and Science College organized an Orientation Programme for the III B.Sc. Biochemistry students on 13 March 2026. The programme focused on the topic “Orientation Regarding AI & Soft Skills”, aiming to create awareness among students about emerging technologies and essential employability skills required in today’s competitive job market.

The session was delivered by Mr. Suga Dev S and Ms. Swathi P, Trainers from Magic Bus India Foundation, Chennai. The resource persons provided valuable insights into the importance of Artificial Intelligence and how it is transforming various industries. They explained how students can upgrade their skills and adapt to technological advancements to improve their career prospects.

During the session, the trainers also emphasized the significance of soft skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and professional behavior. They guided students on how these skills play a crucial role during interviews and in workplace environments.

Furthermore, the speakers discussed various job opportunities, career paths, and the importance of continuous learning and skill development. They motivated the students to stay updated with current trends, explore new technologies, and prepare themselves for future employment opportunities.
