Madras University – Campus Tour

On 26th June 2025, IQAC and the Department of Visual Communication organised a guided Campus Tour at Madras University, designed to introduce prospective PG students, their parents, and academic collaborators to the vibrant academic, cultural, and historical environment of one of India’s oldest and most prestigious universities. This interactive tour offers a first-hand look at the university’s sprawling campus, advanced academic infrastructure, and the diverse student life it fosters.

The event included guided visits to key departments, laboratories, libraries, and other academic facilities, along with interactions with faculty, staff, and current students. Visitors are also given a glimpse into the university’s rich legacy through its historic buildings and cultural landmarks.

Special sessions on academic programs, admissions, scholarships, and student support services were organised to provide prospective applicants for PG with detailed guidance. In addition, participants got to experience the dynamic student community through demonstrations of extracurricular clubs, cultural groups, and sports activities.

Overall, the event was aimed at creating an informative and engaging experience that helps attendees envision their future at Madras University and make informed decisions about their higher education journey.
