Galata Media Shoot

On June 25, 27 and 28 2025, IQAC and the Department of Visual Communication organised a field  work – Galata Media Shot, a dynamic and engaging media production event designed to spark creativity and storytelling among students. Participants were invited to conceptualize, script, film, and edit short-form media content — ranging from short films and documentaries to creative reels and experimental videos.

The event provided a platform for aspiring media enthusiasts to bring their ideas to life using visual storytelling techniques. With limited time and resources, students had to think critically, collaborate efficiently, and adapt quickly to produce impactful content. The final creations were showcased to a panel of judges and enthusiastic audiences, followed by feedback and awards for outstanding performances.

The Galata Media Shot not only celebrated student creativity but also introduced them to real-world media production experiences in a competitive yet supportive environment.
