Voters Awareness Day – Pledge

On 23rd January 2026, the IQAC and NSS Unit jointly observed Voters Awareness Day to emphasize the significance of voting and democratic participation. The event was organized to create awareness among students regarding their role and responsibility as voters in strengthening democracy.

NSS student volunteers actively participated in the event and were briefed on the fundamental rights and responsibilities of voters, the value of each vote, and the impact of electoral participation on governance and nation-building.

As a key component of the programme, students took a Voters Awareness Pledge, affirming their commitment to uphold democratic values, exercise their voting rights responsibly, and encourage others to participate in elections without fear, bias, or inducement. The pledge emphasized honesty, integrity, and awareness while voting, reinforcing the role of youth in shaping the future of the nation.
