Run for Liver Health 2026 – “Every Step Counts”
On 2nd August 2026, the IQAC & NSS unit of our college students participated in the “Run for Liver Health 2026”, organised by the Chennai Liver Foundation in association with Lions International, District 3241 B, on 02 August 2026 at C. Kandaswami Naidu College for Men, Anna Nagar, Chennai.
The event was conducted under the theme “Every Step Counts” with the message “Move for a Cause That Matters.” The programme brought together participants to promote liver health through physical activity and community participation.
The marathon featured three categories 3K Walk, 5K Fun Run, and 10K Timed Run providing participants with opportunities to take part according to their fitness level. Students and NSS volunteers from Annai Violet Arts and Science College actively participated in the event, demonstrating their commitment to health awareness and social responsibility.
The event also provided participants with an opportunity to understand the significance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular physical activity. Participants were supported with refreshments, on-ground medical assistance, finisher medals, participation certificates, and event T-shirts.
