From Battlefield to Billboard: Advertising Peace through Words

On 20th March 2026, the Writer’s Club of the Department of English organized a club activity titled “From Battlefield to Billboard: Advertising Peace through Words.” The event focused on transforming themes of war into messages of peace through advertisement writing. Students were encouraged to think critically and creatively as they crafted slogans, taglines, and short advertisement scripts promoting peace and harmony. The activity aligned with the theme of war and literature, allowing participants to reinterpret conflict narratives into constructive and hopeful messages. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students presenting their ideas confidently and innovatively.
