Broacasting

March 27, 2026 • Reporters Club

The Broadcasting Group Activity was conducted in the classroom to provide students with an opportunity to experience the process of presenting a live radio program. The class was divided into small groups, and each group was allotted a short preparation time to plan their broadcast. Within each group, specific roles were assigned, such as radio jockey, news reader, weather reporter, and advertiser. The radio jockey began the program by greeting the audience and introducing the show, after which the news reader presented a brief news item related to current affairs, campus events, or even imaginative stories. This was followed by the weather reporter, who shared a short weather forecast in a clear and engaging manner. The broadcast concluded with an advertisement, where students showcased their creativity by designing commercials for both real and imaginary products. Some groups included catchy slogans, background jingles, and humorous elements to make their presentation more appealing. Each group’s performance lasted one to two minutes, and the entire session transformed the classroom into a lively and interactive space, giving the atmosphere of a real broadcasting studio.
