Blood Donation Camp

On 15th July 2026, the IQAC, NSS unit & YRC of our college organized a Blood Donation Camp on the college campus to commemorate the 124^th  Birth Anniversary of Perunthalaivar Kamarajar (Kallvi Valarchi Naal), in collaboration with Lions Blood Bank. The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of our respected Chairman, Chev. Dr. N.R. Dhanapalan, Secretary, Mr. N.R.D. Prem Kumar, and Joint Secretary, Dr. P.E.R. Premchand, whose inspiring words and unwavering support motivated the students to actively participate in this humanitarian initiative. The management appreciated the volunteers and donors for their commitment to serving society through selfless acts of kindness.

The blood donation process was carried out under the supervision of a qualified medical team from Lions Blood Bank, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and medical standards. Prior to donation, each volunteer underwent a detailed medical screening, including haemoglobin level, blood pressure, body weight, and general health assessment to determine eligibility for donation.

Students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff enthusiastically participated in the camp, demonstrating their willingness to contribute towards saving lives. NSS volunteers and YRC members efficiently coordinated the registration process, donor guidance, refreshments, and post-donation care, ensuring the smooth conduct of the programme. The event served as a meaningful tribute to the ideals of Perunthalaivar Kamarajar, emphasizing selfless service and social commitment.
