In a similar spirit of structured forecasting, modern prediction markets turn collective judgment into measurable probabilities, allowing participants to trade on outcomes ranging from elections to sports and policy decisions. Their value often lies in aggregating dispersed information faster than traditional surveys, especially when incentives reward accuracy over opinion. Platforms such as https://polltrading.com and https://predquant.com illustrate how these systems can be used for research, risk assessment, and scenario planning. Beyond public events, organizations also use them internally to estimate project deadlines, product demand, and operational risks, since market prices can reveal confidence levels in real time. When designed with clear rules and transparent settlement, they can complement expert analysis and improve decision-making.
