Soles for Souls Marathon – A Drug Free Society 28-09-2025

IQAC with the Department of Corporate Secretaryship along with NSS unit actively participated in the “Soles for Souls Marathon” – A Drug Free Society at Island Grounds, Chennai. The event was organised under the leadership of Shri R. Selvam, IAS, on behalf of the Council for Leather Exports. The primary objective of this Marathon is to create awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among youth and also to highlight the importance of the leather industry and showcase Chennai’s significant role in its growth with the intention to involve students in socially responsible activities and community outreach through active participation. The event brought together participants from various institutions, government bodies, and industry sectors. Through banners, slogans, and coordinated participation, students contributed to spreading the message of health, discipline, and social responsibility. 21 students enthusiastically participated in the marathon, successfully crossed the finish line, and proudly received their medals.
