The Department of Computer Science along with IQAC organised a international conference titled “Recent Innovations in Technology and Society” on 22nd & 23rd September 2025.
Day: 1
Dr. M. Jeyakarthic delivered an insightful session on “Predictive Analytics and Its Impact on AI-Driven Businesses,” highlighting how predictive models enhance automation, personalization, and smart operations. He emphasized the growing integration of Generative AI, Real-Time Analytics, and Explainable AI in decision-making. The session also underlined the increasing adoption of predictive analytics by SMEs to drive intelligent, data-based business strategies. Mr. Paul Mathew, Senior Manager of Data Architecture at AIA Singapore, presented an engaging session on the data journey, covering stages from Data Architecture and Engineering to Analysis and Data Science, illustrating how raw data transforms into actionable insights. He highlighted the importance of tools like AWS, Databricks, Power BI, and TensorFlow in managing and interpreting data. The session emphasized Predictive Analytics as a key enabler for data-driven decisions and explored emerging trends such as Generative AI integration, Real-Time Analytics, and the growing influence of AI in predictive modeling.

Dr. Gaganpreet Kaur from Chitkara University delivered a session on “Unlocking the Power of Prompts: ChatGPT as a Tool for Scholars and Teachers,” showcasing how AI tools aid in research, writing, and data analysis. She encouraged educators to integrate ChatGPT to enhance teaching and research efficiency. Dr. Mano Raniitham, discussed AI-powered learning platforms like Course Hero and AI Course Assistant tools. She emphasized how these technologies enhance academic problem-solving, productivity, and research efficiency. The session highlighted the transformative role of AI in modern education, enabling personalized learning experiences. Dr. Raniitham encouraged educators and students to embrace AI tools to simplify complex academic tasks and concluded by stressing the need for ethical and informed AI usage in academia.
