Orientation program on “Medical Coding”

 On July 07th 2025, the IQAC and Department of Microbiology jointly organized an Orientation program on Medical coding at Room No: 35, 2nd floor, Annai Violet Arts and Science College. The resource person, Ms. Dhanya Kamal, CEO & Training Head, is a CPC certified medical coding professional and trainer with extensive industry experience in coding, auditing, and training. She started the session by addressing the current trends in the healthcare industry, emphasizing the increasing demand for skilled medical coders. She explained how life science graduates are especially suited for this profession due to their foundational knowledge in biology, anatomy, and physiology.
