Motivational Seminar – ““How fit is your Career” 13.02.2026

The IQAC and Conquer Club of the Department of Corporate Secretaryship organized a Motivational Seminar on the topic “How Fit is Your Career”, to enable students to assess their interests, skills, values, and personality traits in order to evaluate how well their chosen career aligns with their strengths and long-term goals. The session was handled by Ms. Jothi Bai G, Life Skill and Corporate Trainer, who served as the resource person.

She emphasized the importance of professional dress code and explained how appropriate attire creates a positive first impression in interviews. She also highlighted interview ethics, clearly outlining the essential do’s and don’ts to be followed during an interview process.

The speaker further demonstrated different types of handshakes and explained their impact in professional settings. In addition, she provided insights into English vocabulary and pronunciation differences between UK and USA usage, helping students improve their communication skills. The seminar was highly informative and interactive, equipping students with practical knowledge and confidence to prepare effectively for their career opportunities.
