Financial Frontiers

The Department of Commerce organised a seminar titled “Financial Frontiers” on Thursday, 28th August 2025. The session was led by Mohankumar Rama Krishnan, a UDEMY Instructor and the Director of Finalaya Learning Hub Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. His expertise and industry experience added significant value to the programme.

Around 100 students actively participated in the programme. During the session, students gained insights into emerging financial frontiers, which enhanced their understanding of key financial concepts, current trends, and practical approaches to financial management. The programme exposed students to new developments in the field of finance, thereby broadening their perspectives on financial opportunities and responsible decision-making.

A major highlight of the programme was the interaction with the industry expert, where students had the opportunity to engage directly with the resource person, clarify doubts, and learn from his professional journey and experiences. This interaction enriched the learning experience beyond textbook knowledge. The programme also provided networking opportunities for students and faculty, encouraging discussions on financial literacy and fostering academic and professional connections.
