Evolve Club Workshop on “ Power BI”

The Evolve club organized a workshop on the topic “Power BI on 12/09/2025. Resource person was  CMA Gnana Preetha, Entrepreneur , Trainer , Founder and Managing Director,  Banyan Academy .The workshop on Power BI is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in business intelligence and data visualization. She covered the fundamentals of data connection, data modeling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and creating interactive reports and how to use Power BI to generate actionable insights. The workshop blends theory with live demonstrations and practice sessions to ensure students can confidently apply the concepts in real-world scenarios. Each class were given one topic and asked them to collect and  present the data .I yr – Skin Care Products II yr – Building products   III yr – Alcohol Products. Each class one representative came and presented their data collection process and the top 5 companies in their respective fields.

Students gained practical knowledge of Power BI tools and techniques for data visualization and reporting. They were able to import, clean, and model data effectively. It helped creating a interactive dashboards and reports to communicate insights. The workshop empowered students to apply data analytics in their academic projects, workplace, or entrepreneurial ventures. It enhanced students decision making skills through the use of data-driven insights.
