Evolve Club – Industrial Visit on 07.2.2026

| Department of B.Com ISM –Evolve Club organized On an industrial visit on 07.02.2026 to Redington Limited, a provider of technology products and services, a Centre of Excellence in Chennai named COLTE (Centre of Logistics Training Excellence) at Teynampet. COLTE is an evolving hub of innovation, research, and collaboration, empowering individuals with the skills needed for a technology-driven future and they also serve as a practical learning and training academy equipped with displays, AR VR Simulators, and training facilities for best-in-class logistics and supply chain practices. The Centers-of-Excellence focus on skilling unemployed youth and upskilling/reskilling the existing workforce of the Indian logistics and supply chain sector.
The Overall strength of 40 students attended this industrial visit. The visit was informative and students learned about the Simulation Labs with Truck Driving, Warehouse, and Forklift Simulators, that offered real-time experiential learning and its process. Technical tutors taught multiple courses and skills that are on-demand and what the students needed to upgrade themselves for their placements in future. The students participated in an assessment in the end of the training session and concluded with feedback session. Students received E -Certificates to their registered mail. |
