Department of Corporate Secretaryship conducted orientation for first year students and their parents. Dr Deepa Augustine, HOD introduced department staff members and presented PPT about the department curricular and co-curricular activities. The Orientation program aims to familiarize B.Com Corporate Secretaryship students with the department’s vision, course structure, faculty, and support systems. It introduces career opportunities, professional ethics, and institutional facilities while fostering peer interaction and motivation. The program ensures a smooth academic transition and encourages students to pursue industry-relevant skills and certification for better employability. The presentation included slides about the objectives, classroom activities, seminars organized, life skill programs, industrial visit, placement program, students social involvement like NCC, NSS and extension activities, students achievements in academics, sports and cultural were highlighted. Further more information with regard to punctuality, attendance, CIA exams, certificate courses were conveyed. Doubt clearing sessions was handled effectively.
