Department Activity- Skill Swap Day
📅Date: January 22, 2026
IQAC & Department of B.Com (Accounting & Finance) organized a departmental activity “Skill Swap Day” on 22nd January 2026 for B.Com AF students as an interactive and student-centric activity. Students were grouped and encouraged to share a skill in which they were proficient, such as dancing, singing, communication skills, presentation skills, time management strategies, digital design basics, drawing or public speaking. Each participant conducted a short demonstration or mini-session for their peers, explaining the concept and providing hands-on practice. The session was handled in turns so that students could learn multiple skills from different peers within a fixed time. Faculty members acted as facilitators, guiding the sessions, ensuring equal participation, and encouraging collaborative learning. The event created an engaging learning environment where students actively participated, asked questions, and applied the newly learned skills through simple tasks and activities.
The primary objective of the Skill Swap Day was to encourage peer learning and holistic development among students by providing a platform to exchange practical and soft skills. The activity aimed to enhance students’ employability skills, teamwork, communication abilities, and exposure to diverse competencies beyond their core academic subjects in Accounting and Finance.
