Blood Donation Awareness Campaign

On 15th July 2025, the Chepauk Lions Club, Chennai, in collaboration with the NSS Unit of Annai Violet Arts and Science College, cordially organized a Blood Donation Camp inside the college campus.
This noble initiative was held to mark the 123rd birth anniversary of Perunthalaivar Kamarajar, a respected leader and visionary known for his unwavering dedication to education and public welfare.
In the lead-up to this event, on 7th July 2025, students from the Department of Biochemistry actively conducted an awareness campaign across all classes to educate students about the importance of blood donation and its life-saving impact. As part of this initiative, they also collected a list of all willing blood donors from various classes to ensure smooth coordination and maximum participation.
