Awareness program on “Cyber security: Be Aware Be Secure”

  On June 19th 2025, the IQAC and Department of Microbiology jointly organized an awareness program titled “Cyber security: Be Aware Be Secure” at the Mini Seminar Hall, Annai Violet Arts and Science College. The resource person, Ms. K. Babitha, Sub Inspector, Cybercrime, Avadi, gave an insightful presentation on modern cyber threats such as phishing, ransomware, data breaches, identity theft, and social engineering. She emphasized the importance of strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and critical thinking while navigating the internet.
