World IVF Day – Walkathon

On July 25, 2025, the IQAC, Department of B.Com. ISM, and NSS unit of our college jointly participated in a “Walkathon” organized by Prasanth IVF Hospital under the theme “Celebrate Women, Celebrate Health” on the occasion of World IVF Day. The event aimed to raise awareness about women’s health and the importance of IVF treatments. The event was flagged off by Mr. Manivannan, Superintendent of Police, Avadi (Battalion 2), and Dr. Geetha, Director of Prasanth IVF Hospital. The walkathon covered the route from Ramie Theater to Prasanth IVF Hospital. Nearly 90 students from Annai Violet Arts and Science College’s B.Com. ISM department actively participated in the walkathon. The students carried placards and banners to spread health awareness among the local community.
