Women in Literature
On 13th February 2026 the Readers Club of the Department of English organized an event titled Women in Literature dedicated to celebrating the powerful voices, creative achievements and lasting impact of women writers across the world. The event explored how women have shaped literature through poetry, fiction, drama, essays and other forms of storytelling, while addressing themes such as identity, empowerment, equality and social change. The event was led by Mrs. B. Dhanalakshmi and Ms. Pramila P. M, Assistant Professors of the department, who facilitated an enriching experience that combined enjoyment of thrilling narratives with deep analytical insights.
