Students Sensitization on Fake News & Fact Check

On 24th July 2025, the IQAC & NSS unit of our college jointly organized a “Students’ Sensitization on Fake News and Fact Check” session. The session was led by Mr. Iyan Karthikeyan, Mission Director of the TN Fact Check Unit, an initiative under the Department of Special Scheme Implementation, Government of Tamil Nadu. The program focused on vital contemporary issues such as fake news, hate speech, social inclusivity, and cyber safety. Through insightful discussions and interactive engagement, students were introduced to the growing threat of misinformation and its consequences on society. The session emphasized the role of young minds in fostering a truthful, inclusive, and secure digital environment.
