Soles for Souls Marathon – A Drug Free Society

On September 28, 2025, students from the Department of B.Com., CS, B.Com., A & F, and the NSS unit actively participated in the “Soles for Souls Marathon” – A Drug Free Society at Island Grounds, Chennai. The event was organized under the leadership of Shri R. Selvam, IAS, on behalf of the Council for Leather Exports. The marathon aimed to raise awareness about the importance of a drug-free society while promoting the leather industry’s contribution to national development. The event brought together participants from various institutions, government bodies, and industry sectors. Through banners, slogans, and coordinated participation, students contributed to spreading the message of health, discipline, and social responsibility.

A total of 61 students from our college enthusiastically participated in the marathon, successfully crossed the finish line, and proudly received their medals.
