Seed Ball Plantation Drive – Protect Our Environment Together

On September 8, 2025, the IQAC, NSS unit, and Department of Economics, in collaboration with Anbu Karunai Illam, organized a Seed Ball Plantation Drive at Seeyathamman Temple, Korattur. Our students engaged in preparing and planting seed balls small spheres made of clay, compost, and seeds that were dispersed across barren areas near the temple to promote natural regeneration.

The event also included a brief awareness session on the environmental benefits of seed ball plantation, ecological restoration, and the role of youth in sustainable development. Volunteers worked collectively to plant hundreds of seed balls, aiming to green the landscape and improve the ecosystem.
