Letters to Authors: A Reading Activity

On 29th August 2025, the Readers Club of the Department of English hosted an engaging training session titled “Letters to Authors: A Reading Activity”. This event was designed for students from arts, science, and commerce streams, immersing them in the reflective and engaging reading activity where students read personal letters to the authors of the books and texts. This activity encourages deep comprehension, critical thinking, and personal connection with literature. It allows students to express their thoughts, questions, opinions and emotional reactions to the texts in a creative and meaningful way. The event was led by Mrs. B. Dhanalakshmi and Ms. Pramila P. M, Assistant Professors of the department, who facilitated an enriching experience that combined enjoyment of thrilling narratives with deep analytical insights.
