Leprosy Awareness – Pledge

On 31st January 2026, the IQAC and National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit observed Leprosy Awareness Day by organizing a pledge-taking program.
The program commenced with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of Leprosy Awareness Day and the importance of public awareness in eradicating the disease. Participants were informed that leprosy is curable and that early detection and proper treatment can prevent disability.
Following the awareness message, all participants collectively took a pledge to promote awareness about leprosy, oppose social stigma, support affected individuals, and contribute towards building an inclusive and compassionate society.
