First – Aid Workshop – Rescue & Care

On July 22nd, 2025, the IQAC, NSS unit, and YRC of our college jointly organized a First-Aid Training Workshop titled “Rescue & Care.” Ms. S. Varshini, a certified trainer and Project Officer from ALERT NGO, led the session and provided hands-on demonstrations of essential first aid techniques, including CPR and the proper use of an AED.The session engaged participants in discussions about the importance of first aid in emergency situations. Ms. Varshini provided detailed instruction and live demonstrations of CPR techniques, encouraging students to actively participate by performing CPR under her supervision to ensure a hands-on learning experience.

Participants reported improved understanding and awareness of first-aid procedures. The practical sessions boosted confidence in handling real-life emergencies.
