First Aid Workshop-Care before Cure
| On 9th July 2025, the IQAC, NSS unit, and YRC of our college jointly organized a First-Aid Training Workshop on the title “Care Before Cure”. The workshop was led by Lieutenant Karthick, NCC Officer, Annai Violet Arts and Science College, who served as the resource person. The session commenced with an introduction to the significance of first aid and its role in saving lives during medical emergencies.
The resource person provided comprehensive theoretical explanations followed by practical demonstrations of various first-aid techniques. The major topics covered included:
The practical demonstrations enabled students to understand the correct procedures for responding to emergencies. Students actively participated by practicing CPR techniques, applying bandages, and learning the appropriate methods of assisting accident victims. The session was highly interactive, allowing students to clarify their doubts and gain hands-on experience under the guidance of the resource person. |
