Be the Match – Stem Cell Registry

On August 22, 2025, the IQAC and NSS unit of our college organized a “Be the Match” awareness and registration program in collaboration with DATRI, India’s largest blood stem cell donor registry. The event aimed to educate students about the importance of stem cell donation and encourage them to register as potential lifesavers.

Chief Guest Mr. Dhilipkumar Krishnasamy inaugurated the program, delivering a comprehensive awareness session on stem cells and their role in treating life-threatening blood disorders. Following the session, DATRI representatives guided students through the registration process, which involved a simple oral swab sample collection.

The response was overwhelming, with around 100 students voluntarily registering and providing their samples. The students received Certificates of Appreciation, reflecting their enthusiasm and sense of responsibility towards humanitarian service.
