Orientation on Aviation Industry (6th February 2024)
The Placement Cell with IQAC organised an Orientation Program in Aviation Industry. The objective of the event is to create an awareness on different career options in the field of aviation. The orientation was given by Mr. Sashikumar - Business Development Manager, Smart GC Pro Edu tec Pvt Ltd. The program started with an introduction for the need for a pre course on aviation to get placed. The speaker briefly discussed on two categories of work: ground staff and cabin crew, and 40 different job roles under it. The students were enriched with the benefits of getting an aviation job and were also provided with a check list of the required skill sets. Few students were given an opportunity to experience airport ground area and the cork pit of a flight through virtual reality. Followed by it the students were given an opportunity to ask their doubts and to share their feedbacks. Students showed genuine interest knowing aviation and its scope and were excited to try the VR platform to experience an airport.
