Onam Celebration 2022 (6th September 2022)
On 6th September 2022, Fine Arts Club had organized Onam Celebration at the college premises. The celebration was graced by Mrs. Jayanthi Ravi, Secretary of Ladies Wing and Mrs. Maya Ajay and Mrs. Asha Devpal, Member of Ladies Wing, Nair Seva Samajam, Ambattur. It was also presided by Chairman Chevalier Dr. N. R. Dhanapalan, Vice Chairperson Mrs. Violet Dhanapalan, Secretary Mr. N. R. D. Premkumar, Mrs. Shoba Premkumar, Joint Secretary Dr. P. E. R. Premchand, Principal Dr. C. Initha Lebanon Ebency and Vice Principal Mrs. Japhia Solomon. The celebration began with the parade of chendamelam. Followed by it, the college choir performed the prayer song. Dr. Sathy, Department of Hindi presented the welcome address. The celebration had a range of cultural activities such as welcome dance, Kerala traditional dance, Thiruvathirakali, skit, and a special dance by girls and boys team. Mrs. Prasanna Muralidharan, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics rendered the vote of thanks. The celebration concluded with national anthem.
