Poster Presentation on “TB Awareness” (23rd February 2023)
On 23rd February 2023, the Department with IQAC organized a poster presentation competition on "TB Awareness". Mrs. S. Mohana, Health Visitor at GCC, explained briefly on TB—cause, prognosis, spread, symptoms, where and how TB is diagnosed and treated and the fact that TB is curable. She showed the two types of combination medications for curing TB. She also gave a briefing on preventive measures. In the competition, first place was won by Samsun Nisha S of III B.Sc. MB, the second place by U.S. Priyadharshini of I B.Sc. Microbiology, and the third place by S. Sridevi of III B.Sc. MB.
