Seminar on Status of Women in the Society (20th January 2023)
The seminar started with a prayer song by the college choir team. Ms. Subhashree of III BA Economics was the event moderator.The speaker Ms. Mary Pouline was honoured with a memento and an indoor plant. Ms. Anushia of I BA Economics presented the welcome address while the introduction of the speaker was carried out by Ms. Lorudhu Vencilash of I BA Economics. Ms. Mary Pouline , Founder Sapcine Publishers, addressed the student community on women's status by quoting her personal experiences and how transformation takes place in a woman’s life .Portrayed the images of Top Women personalities such as Gita Gopinath, Indra Nooyi, Priyanka Chopra and Mary Kom.The session concluded with vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Prasanna Muraleedharn, Assistant Professor in Economics.
