Industrial Visit-Pie Association- Ramanujan & Diophantine Equations (17th December 2022)
On 17th December 2022, the Department attended a lecture on "Ramanujan and Diophantine Equations," organised by the Pie Association at Periyar Science and Technology, Kotturpuram. This lecture was conducted to celebrate 135th Ramanujan birthday occasion.The lecture was delivered by the mathematician Mr. K. Srinivasa Raghava of the All India Ramanujan Maths Club (AIRMC). Various colleges atteneded the lecture. He briefly discussed about the life history of great mathematician Ramanuja and an extensive presentation on the form of Diophantine Equations. At the end of the session, he clarified the doubts of both students and faculty. The event helped students to gain knowledge about the life history of Ramanujan and his contributions and inventions to the field of mathematics and diophantine equations.
