On September 16th, in commemoration of World Ozone Day, IQAC & Department of Chemistry organized an “Oral Presentation” students actively participated in an oral presentation regarding Ozone depletion, its causes, and impacts. Students gained a thorough understanding of various sources of pollution that contribute to ozone depletion. The students discussed the negative impacts of ozone layer depletion, as well as other sources of chemicals that might replace chlorofluorocarbons to avoid ozone depletion.
The event helped students comprehend the significance of the ozone layer in preventing dangerous UV radiation from entering the earth’s atmosphere. They acquired knowledge about different solutions to ozone-depleting pollutants that will protect the Earth from harmful radiation.
