PROGRAMME OUTCOME
Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com) program, students would gain a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of Commerce and Finance.

DEPARTMENT OF B.COM (ACCOUNTING & FINANCE)
Department of B.com (Accounting & Finance) was established in the year 2012. The Staff members are dedicated, qualified, experienced and dynamic.
B.Com. Accounting and Finance or Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Finance is an under graduate Commerce course. Accounting is the art of recording, classifying & summarizing in a significant manner and in terms of money, transactions and events which are, in part at least, of financial character, and interpreting the results thereof. Second, finance is the study of funds management. Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Finance is generally three academic year degree course and it may be provided on part time basis by certain institutes. The degree course is an important and that opens many job scopes for the students after its successful completion.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)
POS 1 : The degree course gives good base for higher degree programs in respective subjects, e.g. Masters’ degree, etc. for higher studies.
POS 2 : They can also go for government jobs such as government accountants – they may work at the local / state level or the central level, administer and formulate budgets, track costs and analyze programs.
POS 3 : Candidates also have the option of having jobs in budget analyzing department; here they are responsible for developing and managing organizations financial plans.
POS 4 : Teaching is also one of the best career options with them. Here they can work as professors after having certain qualifications, or as researchers in universities or colleges. Pursuing B.Ed., M.Ed., M.Phil. or passing the NET Exam can give an edge for those interested in teaching.

PSO 1 : Accounting and Finance is one of the highly remunerative fields and there are lots of career opportunities in this field. This Course satisfies the educational requirements for entry level into Inter level examinations conducted by various Professional Institutes like ICAI, ICMAI and ICSI.

PSO 3 : A graduate after completion of this course, they initially join as a trainee / or as an accountant and work as a freelancers in this field.

FINO Club represents the activities performed by the Department of B.Com (Accounting &Finance) students. It provides the stage for the students to exhibit their talents in various aspects. The main aim of the club is to initiate and motivate student community to strengthen their will power and to avoid stage fear. The Club provides opportunity for each and every student to improve their communication and to increase their creativity in thinking.
DEPARTMENT OF CORPORATE SECRETARYSHIP
Corporate Secretaryship course was introduced in our college in the year 2009. Since then the department has successfully been offering the course to cater the needs of the corporate sector. The department has adequate number of rooms to accommodate students. Since its inception, the department has been producing good results. The objective of Corporate Secretaryship course is to make the students well versed in the recent trends in few areas of interest such as accounting principles, labour legislation and taxation. This will help the students to meet real challenges and to face interviews.
The department offers corporate secretarial skills and provides knowledge and training that moulds students into high calibre, competent, versatile professionals and good corporate citizens.

PO 1 : This program would provide well trained professionals for the Industries, Banking Sectors, Insurance Companies, Financing companies, Transport Agencies, Warehousing etc., to meet the well trained manpower requirements.

B.Com Information System Management
The Department of B.Com Information System Management was vested in the year 2014 for shift II. The department besets with qualified, dedicated and well equipped staff members where they endeavor towards conferring holistic education as they could face the challenges and attain the competitive edge in the current scenario.
The objective of the department is to strengthen and equip the young minds to confront the world by transmitting high quality education. B.Com Information System Management offers a unique combination of management, technology and career related subjects in the course curriculum. This course prepares our graduates to face the industrial needs and demands in the current scenario, which helps them to get transformed into a new generation of technology managers with innovative ways of leading business enterprises.
The department has inaugurated EVOLVE club to enable student’s participation in extra- curricular activities. The club arranges seminars, industrial visit, paper presentation, class room activities, competitions and workshops to facilitate students to acquire practical knowledge to meet with dynamic business environment.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course was introduced during the academic year 2003 with a mission to develop young and energetic business aspirants to satisfy the emerging trends of the business world. The department has a qualified and dedicated team of faculty members who strive to create a conducive and dynamic learning environment for the students to excel in. The course curriculum aims at student-centric learning and equipping the students with in-depth knowledge to enhance their skills in today’s competitive business environment. The department organizes workshops, industrial visits, and lectures by eminent speakers from the industry to bridge the gap between industrial requirements and institutional knowledge and thereby provide an avenue for job opportunities and professional growth. The institution is committed to developing students’ interests and is constantly looking for better ways to engage and motivate them. The department has an inaugurated Explorer club to encourage student participation in co-curricular activities.

Masters in Commerce was introduced in the year 2009. It has qualified faculty members who actively engage in teaching and research. Further, various types of special lectures, seminars, workshops are being conducted periodically to enrich the knowledge of the students. The faculty team guides the students at every step, motivating them to become worthy managers and administrators. In 2014, PG Department added an extra feather to its cap by becoming a research department with recognized research supervisors guiding full-time research scholars. The department always encourages innovativeness among students and research scholars and lays the foundation for them to acquire learning ability by organizing guest lectures at regular intervals. Workshop in data analysis and interpretation is conducted every year to provide simple way of data analysis through interactive and practice sessions along with theory.

Plagiarism:-
The Planned copying of ideas, text, data or other work ( or any combination thereof) without due permission and acknowledgement.

Failure to observe legal norms regarding copyright and normal rights of authors.
Abuse of research/Resources:-
Failure to observe the terms and conditions of institutionally licensed research resources.
Authorship and other publication Issues
Publication of research results is important s a means of communicating to the scholarly world so that readers may be informed of research results and other researcher may build on the reported findings . Infacts, it is an ethical obligation for an investigator at he university to make research findings accessible, in a manner consistent with the relevant standards of publication.
Conflict of interest:-
Academic members of staff may not allow other professional or outside activities to distract their attention from their primary responsibilities towards the university. They should maintain a significant and professionally acceptable presence on campus during each semester in which they are on active duty. Holidays and leave should be in accordance with the university regulations.
Defamation:-
Failure to observe relevant legal norms governing libel and slander.
Misinterpretation:-
The deliberate attempt to represent falsely or unfairly the ideas or works of others, whether or not for personal gain or enhancement.
Personation:-
The circumstances where someone other than the person who has submitted any academic work or data has prepared (parts of ) of the work.
Falsification and fraud:-
The falsification or invention of qualifications, data, information or citations in any formal academic exercise.
Sabotage / Interruption:-
Acting to prevent others from completing their work. This includes stealing or cutting pages out of library books or otherwise damping them: or willfully disrupting the experiments of others, or endangering institutional access to licensed research resources by willfully failing to observe their terms and conditions.
Professional Misconduct:-
Professional acts those are arbitrary, based or exploitative.
