Seeking to pave way to change lives and striving hard in providing a quality education, Annai Violet Arts and Science College, Ambattur, has succeeded in graduating 345 graduates from batch of 2022. On 20th September 2024, 345 undergraduate and postgraduate students of diverse departments were awarded their degrees. The college stands tall for 27 years and proud in its steadfast commitment to its vision in shaping the future of our country by producing quality workforce. It is yet another prestigious moment for the college as it meticulously produces first generation graduates.
The event was witnessed by the Chief Guest, Dr. R. Nataraj IPS, former MLA and DGP, Chairman, Chev. Dr. N. R. Dhanapalan, Secretary Mr. N. R. D Prem Kumar and Joint Secretary P. E. R. Premchand. The programme was preceded by the Principal Dr. C. Initha Lebanon Ebency beginning with Academic possession.
The gathering was formally welcomed by the Joint Secretary, who introduced the guest elaborating on the service he rendered as an IPS officer and the member of the legislative assembly. Followed by it, the chief guest’s address played significance, as it enlightened the young graduates to think a step ahead. He began the note by congratulating the graduates and their parents whose dreams have come true. The core element of the speech was to incubate new ideas, as these will lead the graduates to great heights and will uplift the country. The guest cited many young entrepreneurs who have built remarkable firms with their innovative ideas. He cited the college chairman as a live example whose vision for the society has always been empathetic and uplifting. He insisted on three mantras to be instilled in an individual to be remarkable: good habits, positive thinking and believing in one’s abilities. With that note of advice, the graduates were conferred with their degrees. The principal administered the graduates to undertake their oath and dissolved the ceremony formally.
The event came to an end with beaming faces of young graduates, parent’s hearts filled with pride, contented educators and Annai Violet Arts and Science College standing majestic to render its motto: Seek, Strive and Succeed.
