Facing Romanticism through William Wordsworth

Department of  English in association with IQAC organized a seminar on “Facing Romanticism through William Wordsworth.”  The objective of the event is to educate students about the significance of Romanticism through the works of William Wordsworth. The resource person for the event is Mrs. Roy Jennita Sundari, M.A., M.Phil., Former Assistant Professor, Department of English, Prince Shri Venkateshwara Arts and Science college.

Ms. Anisha, III BA English commenced the session by addressing the gathering, followed by the prayer song. Ms. Kaviarasi, II MA English, delivered the welcome address and Ms. Subiksha introduced the guest speaker for the day Mrs. Roy Jennita Sundari, Former Assistant Professor, Department of English, Prince Shri Venkateshwara Arts and Science college. The guest speaker educated the students on the difference between romanticism and Romanticism. She highlighted the pioneers of the romantic age and elaborated on William Wordsworth’s Preface to Lyrical Ballads. The session ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. I. Kezia, III BA English.

The seminar helped the students to gain knowledge about the Romantic Age.
